Students often choose a topic which seems to be quite easy. But there are much less chances to prepare a good coursework on a topic which is trite. You had better not choose such topics, though they attract you more.
The other trap for students is to choose a topic which seems to be really unique. However, as you are not quite experienced yet, you risk not to cope with a coursework on such a topic, as you will feel a sharp lack of additional material.
Students often try to do everything as it is recommended. In such a case, you risk to prepare a boring coursework which will not present anything new.
Sometimes students try to write an excellent essay. But everyone can discover that he or she tries too hard. And the paper will turn out to be senseless and ridiculous.
Never go the limit, and you will not be entrapped while writing your coursework.
